Overview

Whether you're a student returning from University looking for care and support work or you're a regular healthcare worker looking to help provide support for the rough sleepers we have immediate opportunities for you and we're able to offer flexible work over next few months. Our Client, a well known Homeless Charity, is looking for Hostels Worker for its North West London based Homeless Hostels and to help with outreach work in the community. The role will be to support people with complex needs/Substance misuse issues/Mental Health issues/ in applying for benefits, mentoring them, dealing with Housing Departments/Housing Associations, signposting them to services they may need, carrying a caseload, overseeing the day to day running of the hostel and helping them through the housing pathway. This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of homeless services in London and make a real difference to peoples lives Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 year paid experience of working in a similar setting and be available for a day, weekend and night shifts. All candidates will be required to provide 3 years worth of professional references and undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
