Senior Ecologist - Wolverhampton My client is one of the UK's leading, multi-disciplinary consultancies that have been established since the late 1980s and have grown to be one of the largest consultancies in the UK with an impressive 70 plus offices. They are currently having a broad expansion and are looking to take on an Ecological Consultant in their Wolverhampton office. To thrive during your time at this role it is required that you have: At least five years of relevant experience or previous experience in a similar role A minimum of one protected species licence preferably either Great Crested Newt or Bats The ability to work independently as well as being a strong team member Drive to develop skills and deliver projects to the highest standard Excellent report writing skills, including survey reports, EcIAs, HRAs, protected species licence applications and tenders. Full driving licence Membership of CIEEM or close to achieving As a senior member of the team, you would be expecting to get involved with the management and delivery of all elements of field surveys, tender and report writing and project management. Some of the main responsibilities during your time at this role will include: Co-ordinating and undertaking Phase 1 habitat and protected species surveys Designing and implementing mitigation strategies Financial management of projects Production of tenders and reports Project management, report writing and delivery Managing and mentoring junior members of the team This employer will be offering you a competitive salary dependent on the level of experience you hold, a contributory pension scheme and a flexible benefits package.
