Overview

Responsibilities Credit Control. Fiduciary Accounts. We’re hiring Aon are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our team in Chelmsford. Reporting to the Fiduciary Accounts Team Leader you will be responsible for voice Credit Control relating to the Aon Retail portfolio delivering enhanced cash flow and reducing debtors. You will provide a contact point for external Customers as an interface to the Account Handler who performs the day to day management of the Fiduciary ledger. You will be accountable for contacting a set number of Clients per day with a view to improve Credit Control, demonstrated by monthly KPIs. Provide support to the Team Lead and ensure functions are fulfilled within the agreed standards and timescales as prescribed by Aon. About the Role As Credit Controller you will; Perform a daily review of the outstanding Premium report. Perform telephony Credit Control for a specific range of Clients. Ensure that the Client has committed to pay by the due date. Document any reasons for late payment and raise any necessary queries with in the business. Escalate any issues to the Team Lead that may impact payment performance. Actively develop a professional relationship with contacts. Work towards the Aon KPIs and ensure targets are achieved. Be available to attend ad-hoc meetings with the Team Leader or Accounts Manager on material issues impacting service. Any other relevant activities appropriate to the role. Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you Your skills and qualifications will ideally include; Credit control experience, gained ideally within a corporate environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisation skill and ability to work under pressure. Ability to develop relationships to achieve results. Outcome focussed. Ability to adapt to change. Microsoft Excel skills essential.
