Overview
Governance Officer Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Governance Officer in a well-established Housing Association that covers over 9000 homes for various groups. The role offers a very competitive salary, and an excellent benefits package. The key role responsibilities are: Maintaining the organisation’s statutory and regulatory registers (including those arising from declarations of interest and relating to staff and board member probity and codes of contact) Undertaking business as usual duties, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation Continuously improve and implement a probity framework with both meets legal and regulatory requirements, providing guidance and training for staff and Board members Supporting on a large scale housing development programme, which is developing at scale, and providing advice whenever necessary Attending Board meetings and preparing board papers Ensuring processes are in place across the organization to meet all key regulatory requirements including annual self-assessments, and in-depth assessments It would be beneficial to your application to have 5-10 years’ experience in the Social Housing sector, and to be able to showcase the practical implementation of the above skillset.
