Overview
Finance Graduate required to join a fast growing based in Reading. This role will provide the Finance Graduate the opportunity to learn about multiple aspects of finance and accounting. Role Responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts ensuring that they are complete, accurate and valid Responsible for the monthly intercompany and related party reporting Allocation of the payment element of cash reporting associated with the bank account/general ledger Assisting the month end reporting process: posting journal vouchers, reconciliation and analyses of data, etc Allocation of the payment element of cash reporting associated with the bank account/general ledger Processing purchase invoices Processing supplier payment runs Processing employee expense claims Processing supplier payment runs Diligent management and archiving of AP related documents Ensures that all internal control procedures are adhered to with specific reference to approval of invoices and associated authorisation limits Ensuring effective and efficient vendor query management and resolution Responsible for the administration and management of certain BACS and faster payment related processes Participates in projects as required Ad hoc duties as required Profile Finance graduate Looking for a career in finance Shares openly ideas and opinions and is not afraid to challenge Adopts an organised approach Excellent written and oral communication skills Self-motivated and pro-active Good analytical problem solving ability Stakeholder focused, flexible and a good team player Manages pressure effectively Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, ideally at intermediate level Willingness to learn Company The company is well established within their chosen sector. Located in Reading with on site parking. The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
