Earn £65 per day September 2020 Start or sooner when schools reopen My client primary school based in Lambeth, South London is seeking an additional teaching assistant to join their excellent learning team this September. This is an exciting role for an aspiring teacher or those considering a career focused around supporting children with learning difficulties. The school is situated close to the local underground station so has excellent transport links. This is a full-time position, on a long-term basis; you will be expected to commit until the end of the academic year. So what makes this the ideal teaching assistant role for aspiring graduates? The 2 form entry primary school presents the perfect platform for driven people to build their experience and develop their skills throughout the school year. The school has a number of teach first training teachers working in the school and if placed as a teaching assistant you will be afforded every bit the same level of training, guidance and support as you progress during the placement. The head teacher is looking to appoint a devoted and caring teaching assistant to work alongside a boy in year 1 with complex needs and global delay and a year 4 girl with Down's Syndrome. This type of role would suit someone who has patience and enthusiasm for working with children and learning difficulties. You must be reliable and show you have the ability to help and guide younger children within their educational difficulties. The school provides exceptional care, guidance and support and bespoke pathways for their students with an EHP and you will certainly be provided with every ounce of support. You will be required to: Provide dedicated 1:1 support on a daily basis as part of a learning support team. Have at least a 2:2 UK degree. Have some previous child related experience. Experience working with children and 'learning difficulties' is beneficial but not essential.
