Overview

Project Manager 12 Month contract £473 per day (Inside IR35) Reading Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with a technical background to join a Global Telecom's / Network consultancy based in Reading. Description: To lead and take ownership of large complex client programmes in such a way that each underlying project is accomplished to the complete satisfaction of the client, on schedule, quality assured and within budget. To ensure that client programmes are planned, coordinated and communicated in a professional manner, keeping client stakeholders regularly informed of progress, and ensuring that all stakeholder expectations are managed and that client commitments are consistently met. Pre-Sales Engagement & Project Planning Engage in Sales opportunities well in advance of contract signature to ensure thorough capture of client requirements and hold a project kick-off as early as possible. Prepare and deliver client project plan to ensure accurate expectations are set and advise clients of any critical project milestones. Provide and arrange support across regions for global projects. Project Management Provide professional end-to-end Project Management for Clients. Apply & assure end-to-end VzB Project Methodology and ensure high quality results. Lead the virtual project team (as the overall primary point of contact) throughout a Client Project lifecycle and ensure that all key milestones are met. Ensure that project delivery activities are coordinated between the Client, Sales account team, and internal groups (e.g. Service Delivery Job Controller, Billing, Service Management). Ensure that first invoices for each project are being checked and that the billing start-date in accordance with VzB policy. Effectively manage project budget. Ensure that a clean hand-over to the Client & Service Management team at the close of each project is facilitated. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management Capture client business priorities, critical information & agree programme plan. Ensure that service activations are scheduled & facilitated with the client. Coordinate, host and attend virtual team meetings with clients, account teams, and internal groups. Proactively provide the Client, Sales Rep(s) & Service Manager with frequent programme progress reports, highlighting Risks, Actions, Issues &/or Dependencies (written & verbal as appropriate). Qualifications / background needed: Strong Client facing skills & experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience within a Professional Project Management environment Technical experience with Network Integration, Systems Integration & Outsourcing Leadership skills & experience (including multiple Project Managers, TPV's & Consultants) Strong incident management skills (i.e.: Driving timely route cause analysis & resolution) Strong problem management skills (i.e.: Route cause analysis & business improvement) Submit your CV now to be considered for this fantastic opportunity to work with a Global Telecom's / Network client in Reading.
