Senior IT Category Manager West Sussex £65,000-£70,000 This client is a huge advocate for their customers - they are there for anything their customers need and they want to enable social and financial equality across the UK. Job Duties: Create, implement and drive the IT procurement and category strategies. Manage risks associated with IT purchasing activity and supply chain. Manage and lead the commercial, legal and service level negotiations of contracts, renewals and disputes both directly and through the IT Procurement Team Maintain market knowledge and awareness of developments in purchasing techniques, product technology and supply market-place activity in order to identify and exploit commercial opportunities. Qualifications: MCIPS, Degree level Experience: Comprehensive experience working in IT procurement in the Financial Services Sector. Leadership: Expected to lead and develop a team of IT Procurement professionals. They want someone who wants to evolve and achieve.
