Overview

Customer Service Adviser £17,000 - £20,000 Canterbury, Kent KESS Insurance Recruitment are working with a well established and expanding insurance broker within the Canterbury area. My client requires the services of junior candidates looking to enter an office environment and start a career in a professional, fast paced and friendly environment. If you have customer service experience of any kind (retail or office based) you will be considered for this position where full training is provided. The objective of the Customer Service role is to deal with all customer queries in a timely, polite and efficient manner. You will be the first point of contact for after sales care of any products sold, this is a key position within the company ensuring that we retain business and provide excellent levels of service to customers. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are: Be the first point of contact for incoming calls from customers and insurance companies Communicating with customers to obtain all relevant documentation via telephone, text, email, letter and occasionally face to face Check all documentation received is accurate and stored/filed correctly Monitor the administration mailbox/incoming mail and deal with all customer queries in a timely manner Liaise with insurance companies in order to deal effectively with customer queries Monitor the insurers mailbox and deal with all insurer queries in a timely manner Despatch policy documentation Ensure diaries/call backs are monitored and actioned as necessary Providing after sale assistance and advice to customers Update and provide customer assistance with the MID when necessary Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers in the file notes This position is ideally suited for candidates who are outgoing, wanting to learn and progress therefore my client is really looking for pro-active and energetic people that can speak professionally, passionately and politely to its customers.
