Overview
MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company. We are looking for candidates who want to work in a Engineering Environment. The role would see you carrying out general duties. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload. To help prioritise workloads within the Department / designated Production Line. Safe use of all Welding machinery at all times. Responsible for punch pressing metal components Working with materials such as aluminium and steel Read and interpret shop orders, drawings and diagrams Verify correct raw material or work in progress material Must have relevant experience in the engineering environment Set-up and operate punch press without assistance using bend allowances Responsible for maintaining quality workmanship and tolerance specifications Responsible for filling out paperwork associated with work performed Following Engineering drawings Adherence to strict tolerances To carry out a variety of different duties if required, as set by the Team Leader. To maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times; including general housekeeping duties such as keeping your work station tidy.
