Import Merchandiser/Account Manager - Menswear

A long standing highly successful supplier based in Manchester have created a new role for an experienced Import Merchandiser / Account Manager. The Import Merchandiser / Account Manager will join their menswear division, working on clothing and accessories. The responsibilities of the Import Merchandiser / Account Manager will include: Liaising with the factories in the Far East Monitoring the critical path with new styles and deadlines Working with the shipping department to ensure goods in are on time and running smoothly Attending customer meetings and reporting follow ups including price negotiations and samples development Obtaining approvals including lab dips, gold seal samples and print strike offs Communicating closely with the other in house teams including technical and Sales The Import Merchandiser / Account Manager must have strong communication skills and demonstrate this practise by working with factories in the Far East including India and Bangladesh c£20,000-£30,000 depending on experience
