NEW Senior Analyst - Financial Reporting Accountant Opportunity for Leading FS Company In Hove D o you have analytical experience as well as a process background and have worked in a financial services environment? Do you have strong Excel skills to include a good ability to manipulate data ? Live within commuting distance of Hove & in the market for a long term Contract role and looking for a new challenge working for one of the UK’s most prestigious financial services companies? We have just taken an exciting new opportunity for a to join on a 6 month contract basis a FTSE 100 Financial Services organisation that is one of the most famous, well respected in the UK at their fantastic office location in Hove who are looking to recruit a Senior Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract to work on a vital and urgent migration project. With full benefits on offer during the 6 month period and an attractive basic salary the post holder will also be eligible for an annual bonus, pension contribution as well as 25 days holiday & private medical allowance and the responsibilities will include the following:- Regression testing of reports to ensure integrity of migration data. Conversion of existing statutory reporting production processes. Integrating strategic spreadsheet control improvements where appropriate and where timescales allow. Resolve issues discovered during regression testing and process conversion. Communication with key project stakeholders and appropriate reconciliation and consolidation of key metrics. Apply IFRS technical knowledge to all reporting and ensure it is in line with new standards. Work with key customers on project implementation, including agreeing (in collaboration with the Financial Reporting Manager) implementation requirements and deadlines. Assist with training on the new processes to ensure seamless integration into production and the ongoing delivery of financial results continues to meet needs and quality expectations. Interested? Proven ability to manage and structure large volumes of data for business insight as well as strong Excel analytic skills will be essential for this role and Oracle and Hubble experience would be an advantage.
