The University of Portsmouth is looking for a candidate with strong project management experience, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and a proactive approach to develop and deliver our alumni volunteering programme. It is a very exciting time to be joining the Alumni Relations and Advancement Team. The University has recently launched an ambitious new strategy, which puts our alumni at the heart of the University and its vision for the future. Graduates who give their time and expertise make a real and demonstrable difference. Our alumni volunteers play an important part in the student experience, employability and alumni career outcomes. They also help us to make a positive difference to society through our civic, outreach and global objectives. The current volunteer programme is in early developmental stages, but we know that our graduates are looking for relevant ways to support their University; for the right candidate, this role is an excellent opportunity to develop a thriving network and make a true impact. The programme will be pivotal in deepening the relationship between the University and its alumni, at all levels of seniority, and support the building and strengthening of lifelong relationships with alumni and students, faculty, friends and others.
