Overview
Are you a fluent German speaker with a real passion for the travel industry? A very successful incoming tour operator are looking to expand their German market groups team with an enthusiastic and driven incoming group operations Consultant. Our client brings customers in to the UK and Ireland from mainly German speaking countries and so they are seeking an operations consultant with the relevant language and travel skills. Responsibilities include: Checking itineraries (feasibility & conformity with clients' publication) Booking and planning all services according to the itinerary Dealing with additional client wishes Distributing all necessary information to all partners so that tours run smoothly from start to finish Issuing the correct documentation (e.g. invoices, vouchers) on time Required skills and experience A passion for our destinations Great Britain and Ireland A positive attitude A good problem solver An effective team player An accurate working style, with attention to detail Strong spoken and written communication skills Language skills: fluency in both written and spoken German and English Previous experience in group or coach travel is an advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages (Outlook, Word, Excel) On offer: A position with responsibility and variety An international team with a good team spirit Various training programs (e.g. Familiarisation trips to gain deeper knowledge of our destination) If you have the required job and person skills please send your CV to or click 'Apply' and follow the on-screen instructions This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89710795
