3rd line Support Engineer / Project Engineer - £38,000 - £43,000 – Wilmslow A third line support engineer / Project Engineer, who is focused around the Microsoft Stack with Azure and office365 exposure, is needed to join an award winning and very successful tech focused business in their Wilmslow office. You will be joining a technology focuses company that can offer fantastic career growth opportunities and the ability to learn and develop with the latest techs across the Cloud space. The Role: Working with a strong team of 10 others your role will be focussed around being a part of the continued development for the businesses technology plan and supporting the company with all technical issues at a third line and senior level. Day to day duties inc: Working closely with the infrastructure manager on projects and future technology growth in the business Supporting and maintaining the businesses complex Virtualised infrastructure set up Work both independently but also work well within a team and have the ability to mentor more junior member Work with seniors in the business to develop business requirements Supporting the information security side of things – ISO27001 certification Skills and Experience Required: You must have at least 2yrs experience in a similar 3rd line support engineer role working for a medium sized business with ideally a mix of project experience too. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in speaking with senior management across the business You must have some experience and exposure to Azure and O365 - ideally being part of a migration You must have skills across: Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, Office 365, Some Networking skills (LAN/WAN, firewalls) Any experience within Security and networking across VLAN, ISO27001 would be beneficial but not essential Certifications across MCSE, MCP would also be very beneficial This is the opportunity to join a very successful, fast paced and forward thinking business that is heavily investing within the technology market and can offer both career progression, an excellent benefits package and work / life balance.
