Overview
An exciting opportunity working for a new industrial laundry that is owned and services a major Central London Hotel Group. The successful applicant will get extensive training from the German machinery manufacturers that are providing the new state-of-art equipment for the facility The ideal candidate will need an electrical engineering qualification and preferably have experience of working in an Industrial Laundry. Alternatively, from FMCG or high speed production / manufacturing background with transferable skills Requirements: >Manufacturing or Production environment experience >Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ level 3, HNC /ONC or City & Guilds) >Ensure all plant property, equipment and other assets are fit for purpose in compliance and Group standards and best practices. > Possess electrical understanding on relays, sensors, ac/dc motors and invertors >PLC knowledge to a fault finding level >Mechanical skills including, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, chains, belts and bearings >Ability to organise self and ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner >The ability to quickly learn technical terminology and processes Responsibilities: >Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company Health & Safety Policy and national legislative requirements >Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance >Lead projects and continuos improvements within the facility >Working within budgetary control If you feel you could be successful in this role, please apply with an up to date CV.
