We are looking for a developer to work within our backend team. Responsibilities: Work with the team to design scalable and reliable solutions to best meet the customers needs Be an active part of the Back end team helping to improve our services Requirements: Proven experience of software development (preferably Java or Node / Javascript) Exposure to cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, bonus points for Terraform) Good understanding of Microservices architecture Good understanding of networks, security, and system resilience Work with a devops approach for delivering quality code into production An autonomous, independent person who is willing to try things, working with the team to get things done A desire to learn and apply best practices in software development We know this is a wish list and no-one will have everything but what we are looking for is a reasonable selection of the skills. We're looking for people who can apply their existing knowledge. Java, Node, Docker, Gradle, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SQL, Git, Terraform, Agile development processes, and appreciation of front end development, all things unix.
