A brand-new opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Team Lead to join an industry-changing start up in the centre of Manchester as they continue to grow, embrace change and encourage engineers to have a real impact. Role – Infrastructure Engineer Team Lead Location – City Centre Manchester Salary - £70,000 Responsible for supporting and maintaining the cutting-edge infrastructure and during incidents you will own the identification, investigation and resolution. A hands-on role you will undertake the role of lead engineer and decision-maker on all projects ensuring the team is managed and mentored effectively. Leader Responsibilities Lead the team, conduct appraisals and develop individuals Be the technical escalation point for all incidents and ensure are responded to Ensure all procedures and policies are followed Work closely with delivery teams, you will assign technical resource to assist with planning and implementation of projects Build strong relationships with business Stakeholders to understand requirements, managing change and updates Identify and Catalogue risk, providing resolution Engineer Responsibilities Provide 3rd line support Standard System administration duties including server provisioning, upgrades, patch managements across a Windows and Linus estate Create and maintain documentation as it relates to server, equipment and configurations Plan, design and implement infrastructure solutions to support delivery Identify improvements and escalate Investigate emerging technologies, document findings and provide benefits You Significant experience in a fast-paced environment where change management is strictly followed Strong knowledge of Windows Systems Strong management and support of Windows server roles Working knowledge of container orchestration platform Interested in playing a pivotal part in an exciting start up revolutionising their industry?
