Overview

European Reporting Manager required on a 12month Maternity Cover. This role will be a key part of the European Finance team to ensure that we meet monthly close and compliance requirements. The role sits in the EMEA regional finance team in Aylesbury, UK of a market leading US-based FMCG company with European sales of approximately $600 million. Role Full participation in the monthly / quarterly / annual corporate (US gaap) reporting according to strict deadlines, co-ordinating activities for entities across Europe Ensuring that monthly reporting within HFM is timely and accurate Collating and coordinating the reporting of supplemental information, from the EMEA region to the US Monitoring completeness of the close process Sense-checking outputs and flagging potential discrepancies Following up any balances not fully supported bringing to a clear conclusion Ad-hoc analysis Supporting the commercial finance team, as they populate budgets/forecasts within HFM Ensuring compliance to Corporate policies and reporting requirements, communicating with in-country and shared service teams as needed Ensuring SOx compliance, demonstrating a strong grasp of internal control Project work and process improvement initiatives across the function Profile The successful Interim European Reporting Manager is likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience of Eurpean financial reporting of a large business.
