Maintenance electrician

Position available in the Normanton area for a maintenance electrician You will be working for a well known organisation based on a site in Normanton. Travel is not necessary for this role. and hours are 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday. Overtime is occassionally available however this is completely optional. This is a large industrial/office building so you will be required to carry out the following within this environment: The maintenance of all M&E engineering service's on resident Contract's The day to day operation & maintenance of resident building. To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated equipment, including electrical maintenance/fault finding and repair on switch and control equipment, distribution systems and motor driven plant. Operation of plant and equipment. Inspection of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with agreed procedures and company quality standards. Perform repairs/modifications as appropriate and provide prompt and correct documentation of incidents Participate in the upkeep of records on servicing of plant and equipment and maintaining the plant asset registers. Taking and logging of all meter readings when required. Arrange with the client suitable access to equipment for maintenance requirements. Ensure work orders show the correct asset details, materials used and time spent on the task and that communications are maintained between the client and MTFM relating to their progress. To effect the operation of the planned Preventative Maintenance Programme. You will need: Building Services skills in a client focussed environment. Good Verbal and written communications skills. Commercial awareness. Planning skills. Customer care/relationship skills. Basic IT skills. 17th or 18th edition IEE Regulations NVQ level 3 in Electrical Building Management Systems experience.
