Overview
Mazars Poole Financial Outsourcing Team Our Financial Outsourcing team in Poole and Team of the Year finalists at the 2019 Dorset Business Awards are seeking an experienced accounts assistant to join their rapidly expanding team. This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity to liaise directly with clients, and to be part of a dynamic outsourcing team that provides a first-class accounting and advisory led service to clients of all sizes from starts up’s to large international groups. The suitable candidate will have experience of working in an accounting environment, either within industry or practice and have a sound knowledge of purchase ledger and basic bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have experience of using cloud-based accounting software and possess a high level of attention to detail. Job Role • Providing book keeping services to clients including; bank reconciliations, processing accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices and VAT return preparation. • Working closely with senior members of the team to ensure accounting records for clients are maintained allowing for the timely preparation of their management accounts. • Liaising with clients and their suppliers to ensure payments are made on time. • Implementation of cloud technology and associated apps to provide great service to our clients. • Communicating with clients in a professional and confident manner. • Communicating with other departments (e.g. tax) and pass on all relevant information. • Occasional ad-hoc administrative tasks.
