Test Analyst (£166.57 - £217.35 in scope IR35) Location: Leeds Duration: Apr - Sep 2020 IR35: In scope Rate: £166.57 - £217.35 per day ICT Tester Working as part of the Solution Assurance and Testing area of the NHS, this role will support the assurance and testing work, providing specialist input into activities including: technical testing, assurance, test data, live and test environments and support, end to end lifecycle). This will include contributing to a wide range of activities, including development and review of guidance, test plans, test scenarios, test data, risks, issues, problem resolution and delivery of assurance and test services. This is a technical post in which the post holder will be expected to undertake a range of duties covering different aspects of Assurance and Testing. Sought: Manual Testing experience Test Cycle experience Jira Experience of managing risks and issues identified as a result of analysis Technical Testing Functional testing Agile / Waterfall methods Experience of defining and confirming the nature of problems; looking at issues from different angles, considering alternative solutions and suggesting proposals Experience of different test methodologies and test approaches for manual and/or automated testing Experience of writing new (and the maintenance of existing) test plans and comprehensive test scripts to ensure the correct execution of business functionality and user requirements Hands on experience of testing in both Agile and/or more traditional Waterfall delivery projects Experience of designing and creating test data to verify expected test results Experience of identifying code defects through test execution The ability to document work using different techniques and desktop applications (e.g. Excel, Visio) TEST, TEST ANALYST, TESTER, BDD, INTEGRATION, MANUAL, DATABRICKS, BACKEND, ASSURANCE, QA, AGILE, PUBLIC SECTOR, NHS Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
