Overview

QA Test Analyst - Leeds - c£30k - £36k - 6 Months Fixed Term Contract We are looking for a QA Test Analyst for a client in central Leeds. The role of QA Test Analyst is to identify and define required tests, monitor the testing output, prioritise and manage defect resolution and ensure the overall test quality and accuracy is fulfilled to the required compliance level. JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and maintain test plans Identify and define required tests aligned to business processes Gather and manage supporting test data Define and monitor the overall quality during testing Assess and evaluate the outcome of each test cycle Ensure testing is within the standard test life cycle, including: - functional, integration, end-to-end, volume / performance, and user acceptance tests Organise and participate in test meetings and sessions Maintain, document and prioritise coding defects using standard defect management tools Assess and resolve defects Preparing necessary materials for testing Ensure testing milestones and deadlines are met Create acceptance criteria and ensure signed off by stakeholders. Ensure all test reports provide up-to-date and accurate information to senior management teams. KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES ·Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role implementing eCommerce, ERP, CRM and supporting systems utilising a mix of internal and external resources. Excellent knowledge of test tools, techniques and methods. Practical experience in successfully creating and executing test plans from inception to delivery utilising a mix of internal and external resources. Demonstrable experience of defining test environments. Demonstrable experience of creating and executing test scripts. Demonstrable experience of working with test tools to document defects and progress them to resolution. Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders. Adept at collaborating with employees at all levels. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Competency in Microsoft applications - Project, Word, Excel and defect management tools such as HP ALM/QC. Ability to work on tight deadlines. Pro-active - able to identify issues in advance, escalating where necessary. Please send a CV if you would like further information.
