Your New Employer This well-known local business are recruiting into their busy finance function with the addition of an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller. Your New Job This is a fast-paced and pivotal role within the wider finance function. Having full responsibility for the whole credit control process, your role as sole Credit Controller will involve reducing debt owed to the business by chasing payments, ensuring refunds are made and correctly allocated. You will be targeted on the reduction of outstanding cash, with an emphasis on building strong relationships with customers. Heavily weighted towards query resolution, you will ensure that customer's receive an excellent experience when liaising with them, whilst getting to the cause of the issue and resolving it. You will liaise heavily with internal stakeholders of all levels, building excellent business relationships and providing information and support where required. Your Experience & Our Requirements In order to be considered for this role you must have a clear and relevant employment history within the credit control arena. You will be able to demonstrate previous successes in reducing aged debt, debtor days and overall outstanding cash and the ability to work to both KPIs and deadlines. You will have clear and professional communication skills and have a tenacious, problem solving attitude and be capable of forging strong client relationships. If you are an all-round accounts assistant with strong credit control experience you will also be considered. You will have the ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace in order to meet tight deadlines. When dealing with customer queries you must be able to delve into the detail of the issue, resolving it in a friendly and timely manner.
