Resource Coordinator

Resource Coordinator job, based in Cambridge CB2 8HG, £110 day rate, contract until June 2020 My client, the UK's leading Telecommunications provider, are looking to recruit Resource Coordinators based in Cambridge. The purpose of this role is to ensure that Field engineers are optimally matched to meet demand requirements, to provide real time support to Field teams and Communications Providers and to ensure the unit meets its service targets on a Right First Time basis. Your job responsibilities Coordinating and deploying daily tasks to UK wide field operatives, deploying daily tasks for up to 30 operatives. Prioritising workloads, meeting deadlines and collaborating other admin team members. You will manage faults coming through the system and allocate the right engineers to the job. Providing high-quality service to clients, working with the team to achieve goals, daily targets and resolving resource allocation issues. Own issues and escalate to the appropriate level Monitor e-mails and systems for new escalations and expedite requests within the agreed timescales. What you'll need to succeed The successful Coordinator will have excellent organisation skills and you'll be competent with: PC Literate, ability to use standard MS Office applications, particularly Excel to a good user level Customer care skills, ability to listen and understand the customers needs Good communication skills, calm and polite telephone manner Ability to multi-task and deal with heavy workload Good organisational skills Experience in helpdesk/service request role would be ideal.
