CONTRACT JOB - Temporary Buyer - Bristol GCS currently have a contract position looking for a Temporary Buyer as detailed below; Job Title: Buyer Location: Bristol Salary/rate: £210 per day - £330 per day depending: PAYE / Umbrella / experience Duration: 9 Months Job Description GCS are currently looking for a buyer to join a busy Engineering company based in Bristol. Key Experiences and any Qualifications BA degree or equivalent or significant industry experience. Ideally MCIPs qualified or equivalent. Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working. Good planning / project management skills Strong commercial acumen. Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain management preferred. Few packages of work - buying various parts - finding source for the required parts - going to market, requesting quotes, setting the contract with the suppliers They will be required to work closely to the engineering team to make sure they know the specs of the parts Purchasing and supply chain experience is essential Manufacturing or Aerospace background would be preferable Will be working with a whole range of parts If this role is of interest to you please email or call Josh Clark on .
