Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cyber Security ISO 27001 Windows Azure). Pioneering technology company is seeking a tech-driven, accomplished Senior Infrastructure Engineer to champion their industry leading cyber security products. They are looking for an individual who has broad technical knowledge and is passionate about their craft, so this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a Cyber Security focussed role. In this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role you'll take the lead on building out the organisation's security service strategy and capabilities, leading the security operation function, providing guidance on incident management and investigation to ensure all security products and SIEM products are operating effectively and reliably. This is a high impact, hands-on role where you'll be a key player from strategic overview as the subject matter expert, to local level technological involvement like running security related automation tests. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a critical point of contact for clients who have no in-house cyber security and will subsequently create bespoke technical solutions to meet their needs, deliver regular cyber security reports and execute vulnerability assessments, to ensure the utmost protection is maintained. Requirements: You are well-rounded Infrastructure Engineer with broad technical knowledge (expert in Microsoft technology stack) You have a good understanding of service support and delivery in an ITIL based environment You have a proven track record of self-study and possess a number of industry recognised certifications (e.g. CISSP), familiar with ISO 27001 You have experience of leading a small team You're proficient with at least one scripting language (Python or PowerShell preferred) You're a confident, self-assured communicator, able to relay complex technical information to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £70k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
