Overview

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Archiving or Document Manager to join a highly rated firm based near Chesham. You will be responsible for the modernisation of the archiving process by implementing traditional and technological systems to manage the document lifecycle efficiently and within company procedures and policies. Key duties include: - Managing the archiving service Reviewing current document processes Improving current processes Ensuring that the physical and electronic filing comply with internal and external policies and regulations Consult on the use and management of physical and electronic information Identify ways to leverage technology to improve the document life cycle and archiving services Supervise all archiving and retrieval of documents Oversee the collection and secure destruction of files Supervise the data entry of information for storage Provide direction to external and third party suppliers Liaise with team leaders to provide consultation in the development of new systems and procedures Researching and implementing any new technologies relating to digital archiving and record management To be considered suitable for this role you will need: Degree in Information Management or significant relevant experience Full UK driving licence with own transport Experience of managing an archiving function in a regulated industry Experience using digital and electronic records Able to plan and deliver projects Previous Supervisory or line management experience Good interpersonal skills Methodical and well-organising Manual handling skills and the ability to lift and carry files, boxes etc. If you have read this spec and feel this is the perfect opportunity for you then please email me your CV today We are an independent recruitment agency who are celebrating our 40th year of supporting local candidates find local opportunities.
