Overview

Receptionist We have an exciting opportunity for an organised bubbly and experienced Receptionist to join a well-known property management company in Central London. You will be responsible for the front desk in providing exceptional customer service and warm and friendly welcome. You will also have exceptional administrative skills and be involved in day to day management of the office. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the team providing a welcoming experience for all visitors and employees. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be highly organised. They will manage the reception desk on the third floor on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. A personable and positive approach is essential in order to deliver excellent customer service. Welcome guests and employees when they arrive on the floor. Answer, screen and forward incoming calls. Prepare meeting rooms. Update calendars and schedule meetings. Record keeping of access cards and fobs issued and signed for. Organising and distributing the mail to the team and to staff located outside of London. Organising and delivering newspapers and milk for the communal areas. Managing the tea/coffee point, including organising maintenance repairs as required. Provide tea/coffee for visitors as requested. Arrange breakfasts/lunches for important meetings. Arrange couriers as required. Order flowers for reception. Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area. Support the Office Managers with procurement of stationary and other items. Create purchase orders and research items to compare prices to support a cost-effective procurement strategy. Manage the printers including toners and arranging maintenance. Reporting any health and safety issues or maintenance issues to the Office and Building managers in a timely manner. Provide general administrative support as requested by members of the team. Printing, filing and scanning documents for the team. Organise social and client events. Diary and travel management for the FHUK CEO and COO, including arranging visas. Build rapport easily with visitors and the team. A collaborative and inclusive approach is essential. Ensure all requests are accurately completed to a high standard and deadlines. Respond to customer complaints in a professional manner, including forwarding complaint letters to the appropriate team member. Comply with our policies & procedures and maintain a safe workplace. Proven experience as a Receptionist. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with the team and establish rapport with visitors. Strong team player who can demonstrate an ability to take ownership of work streams, with an ability to work independently. Strong Microsoft skills (word, excel and power point).
