Overview
The Company Our client is a market leading engineering company. To cover long term sickness, they are now looking for a Credit Controller for up to 6 months. Along with the chance to work for one of the region’s most established companies this role offers an attractive salary. The Role Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments. Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices. Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment. Match purchase orders to invoices. Input batches onto system. Reconcile statements. Prepare and run BACS payments. Raise manual cheque payments Answer the telephone in a timely manner, screen and direct calls to the correct person. The Person Must have demonstrable experience in a similar role. Experience in Credit Control is essential. Ability to work under pressure. Good Customer service skills. Excellent IT skills, being proficient with applications such as MS office Accounts background.
