Overview
My client are a leading media agency who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their creative team in central London. With international brand presence and great clients under the name, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss out. The role as Management Accountant will sit in a team of 15, report into the Financial Controller and take on some of the following responsibilities; manage revenue recognition, month end reconciliation, process intercompany recharges and reconciliations as well as manage the P&L and provide variance against actuals. Alongside this you will also get involved in budget and forecasting, balance sheet review, prepare statutory accounts and help with audit. The role is a varied position that will sit with 2 other Management Accountants where you will be responsible for a client and will expect this person to take ownership. The right candidate for this role will need to have demonstrated at least 1-2 years preparation of management accounts to TB. Any exposure to budgeting and forecasting will be advantageous yet not essential. The candidate can be part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or at the starting stages of the studies, as long as they have the relevant experience. Ideally you will have creative agency experience however if you can integrate in to a creative culture that is fast and dynamic then my client will consider this as well.
