Overview
New Finance Technician Opportunity to Join One of the UK’s Most prestigious Financial Service Organisations. We currently have a great opportunity to work within the Operational Finance Team of a well known prestigious FTSE Top 100 Company at their Cardiff location initially in a fixed term contract role. This highly successful, well established and forward thinking organisation currently have an opportunity for a finance professional ideally with technical and/or practical experience in the industry to join them in the role of Finance Technician and the key responsibilities are summarised below:- Data processing Intra-account payments Preparation of daily fund boxes Posting of journals Financial reconciliations Financial reporting. Preparation of the monthly financial / management accounts Revenue, balance sheet, tax & other regulatory returns Management Information provision. Provide analytical support and management information to various business units Maintain procedure notes If you are studying towards a recognised professional accounting/investment administration or other relevant qualification and/or already have some relevant practical experience within a Finance or investment environment then our client would like to hear from you. In addition you will need intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as practical experience of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the business and prepared to actively participate in meetings will also be required as well as working accurately to tight deadlines.
