Overview
K-People Europe is a recruitment consultancy specialized in Korean speaking jobs with a dedicated Korean recruitment consultant working in London since 2007. Our client, a reputable bank located in the heart of City of London, is looking for Korean speaking Junior Bankers in various roles. This is a great opportunity for those who wish to start a finance/banking career in entry/junior position. [Position 1: Loan] (1) Prepare credit report for new and existing customers (2) Loan schedule management (including next interest calculation) (3) Loan documents management [Position 2: Trade Finance] (1) Deal with documentary credit - Opening, amendment and reimbursement of documentary credit - Review the documents for negotiation and send bills and documents for collection - Advice of L/C (2) Manage inward and outward commercial payments - Perform inward and outward commercial payments - Communicate with financial intermediaries to solve problem - Keeping, updating and managing pending list and - Perform complaint management with inward and outward clients [Position 3: Back Office] (1) Maintain and update the Bank’s internal accounts (2) Process domestic and international payment transfer after all operational procedures has been carried out via SWIFT (3) Perform bank to bank transfers via SWIFT, maintain appropriate balances in Nostro accounts and perform daily bank reconciliation (4) Process prepaid transactions and update the relevant files in the system. (5) Prepare filing of daily transaction slip of all the departments. (6) Other admin duties as assigned [Requirements] (1) Fluent in English & Korean (2) Excellent MS Office skills (3) Excellent numerical skills and attention to details (4) Good communication skills and team player (5) Any finance/accounting related background is highly desirable (6) Must be eligible to work in UK immediately without any visa restriction [Conditions] (1) Location: City of London (close to Bank station) (2) Salary package: 26K for those WITHOUT banking experience & fully negotiable for those WITH banking experience (3) Annual leave: 28 days (including 8 public holidays) [Before you apply] (1) Korean language skill is essential (2) You must be eligible to work in UK immediately without any visa restriction.
