Investments Administration Team Leader

A highly regarded Bath investments firm is looking for a conscientious and proactive Team Leader to lead a small team of administrators. This is a varied role and the team works closely with various business functions across the company and provides first class administration support to financial advisers and their clients. The Role: Responsible for team development through structured 1-2-1, appraisals and leading team members individual training and development plans. Dealing with a range of financial products such as ISAs, GIAs, SIPPs and bonds, and resolving escalated queries from the team. Overseeing financial processes such as new business applications, transfers, payments in and re-registrations. Boosting the ongoing development of the team through leadership techniques, motivating and promoting. employees in recognition of their achievements, either on an individual or team basis. Maintaining an up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal processes to ensure the team's procedures are accurate and approved. Conducting performance reviews with staff to include core and stretch objectives. Encouraging ideas and initiatives from all team members. Dealing with complex queries which have been escalated by team members. Ensuring consistent improvement of processes and team activity to achieve efficiency. Experience needed: You lead by example in motivating team members, you are a good role model and mentor for the team. Proven experience in a similar role with some evidence of leadership/supervisory or senior level experience Financial services experiecne with a good understanding of platforms and financial product ranges including ISAs, GIAs, SIPPs and Offshore Bonds Excellent interpersonal, team working & communication skills Demonstrating ownership & accountability Proven process improvement successes Driven, focused with natural initiative.
