Credit Control opportunity within a large FMCG Distribution Group offering good benefits and long term career progression. THE COMPANY A Manchester based FMCG Distribution Group with a reputation for providing innovative supply chain solutions to a UK wide customer base. THE OPPORTUNITY Working within a large Finance Department the successful Credit Controller will handle a high volume of corporate customers and have wide-ranging responsibilities. Duties as a Credit Controller will include: Daily responsibility for the collection of cash across a ledger of around 2000 live accounts, handling a busy UK ledger of varied customers Reconciling bank accounts Maintain and reduce the DSO where possible Working to company policy and time-scales regarding outstanding debt Working collaboratively within the Accounts team Suggesting any improvements for procedures and processes Providing reports for management on a weekly basis Ad-hoc projects This is a great opportunity for a Credit Controller with strong collections experience to progress their career within a fast-paced business which delivers solutions to numerous leading UK organisations, Full training on company procedures and systems will be provided. THE PERSON Ideally you will be a Credit Controller able to demonstrate the following: Recent Credit Control / Collections experience within a fast-paced organisation Enthusiasm, energy and a passion for credit control Ability to tackle problems and queries with ease A confident user of Outlook, Excel and accounting packages Please contact Lucas McLean Recruitment to discuss this opportunity.
