Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford. For the successful Quality Engineer our client is offering; Permanent position Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday with a 2pm finish on Fridays Competitive annual salary The Role of the Quality Engineer; Make recommendations on continuous improvement activities Compile Management review reports showing trend analysis Setting up ISO9001 and PPAP from scratch Facilitating activities to reduce scrap and rework Managing the measurement of scrap effectively Providing support and coaching using visual management to all shop floor processes with respect to product quality Managing quality issue documentation Liaising with customers via quality concerns What our client is looking for in a Quality Engineer; Time served apprenticeship - highly advantageous Must have strong knowledge of Quality measurements tools such as 8D, control plans, PPAP Must have experience setting up ISO9001 - ESSENTIAL 5 years in a Quality role Alternative job titles; Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, ISO9001, PPAP Commutable From; Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Market Drayton, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley For further information about this and other positions please apply now This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Recruit4staff (Telford) who are operating as a recruitment agency, agent, agencies, employment agency or employment business.
