Hairdresser/Stylist Permanent - Full time (Employed) Salary DOE Margate My client a constantly evolving hair salon in Margate are looking to recruit a Hairdresser/Stylist on a permanent basis. This role is a full time, employed position working Tuesday - Saturday, various hours. The salary will be dependant on the candidates experience and expertise. This is an amazing opportunity to join a wonderful team who are focused on customer satisfaction Duties and Responsibilities: Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers' face shapes and tastes Wash, rinse and dry clients' hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp) Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. colour protection creams and hydrating masks) Form bonds with loyal customers Manage bookings and serve walk-ins Ensure tidiness of beauty stations, hair stations and sterilise tools, as needed Person Specification: Previous experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colourist or similar role Must be reliable Hands-on experience with various colouring techniques Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, styles and techniques Up to date with industry trends Excellent communication skills Flexibility to work in shifts Valid certificates and qualifications If you would like to find out more please call freephone: or email your CV About Morgan Jones: Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
