We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Operatives at our Telford site based in Hortonwood and have a range of shifts including days & nights. We have a range of permanent and temporary 4, 8 or 12 week fixed term contracts available now. We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. Purpose of the role As a Hygiene Operative you will be reporting to the Hygiene Process Leader and the Hygiene Technical operative to effectively undertake cleaning of food production equipment to required standards. Your key responsibilities will include: • Carry out thorough cleaning of production areas, lines and equipment (including hygiene equipment) on a nightly basis to strict standards • Cleaning of offices and amenities where applicable • Record completed cleaning tasks on daily task sheets • Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times • To ensure PPE is used correctly and maintained in good condition What we are looking for: • Desirable experience working within a Hygiene Team • Functional skills in English and Maths. • Ability to understand written instructions • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks • The ability to work well within a team and communicate with all levels of staff Experience within a production/manufacturing setting showing an understanding of a fast moving process is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
