Overview
Transport Supervisor We are recruiting for a Transport Supervisor in the Tamworth area. Our Client is a well-established Company. As a Transport Supervisor you will need to have/be: Previous experience in a similar role Food Hygiene Certificate Health and Safety Certificate Organised and good time management Confidence to negotiate, challenge and influence Experience of using hand held devices Driving Licence Details: Salary: £27,000.00 per annum Working Hours: 4 on / 4 off - 6.00pm - 6.00am (12 hour shifts) Location: Tamworth Duration: Permanent Role of a Transport Supervisor: Ensure competently trained resource is allocated to work activities Provide leadership and direction to ensure that people are supported in their roles Ensure the administrative procedures and operational information is accurate Conduct operational inductions and training as required Communicate opportunities for improvements Ensure and demonstrate drivers are safe and legally entitled to drive the nominated safe and legal roadworthy vehicle Actively participate in the risk assessment, accident investigation, operational inspections and behavioural monitoring processes Effectively execute the permit to work controller responsibilities Ensure records are filed correctly and actively assist with scheduling and planning of maintenance activities for the vehicle fleet Benefits of working as a Transport Supervisor: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company Pension Share Save Scheme Free Parking If you are interested in the above role please click apply Extra Personnel Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
