Transport Coordinator Nuneaton Basic £17,000 - £21,000 £4,500 bonus automatically added once past 3 month probation Full Time – Mon – Friday 8.30 – 5.30pm Our client is a fast growing construction company that are looking for someone to join their lively & busy Transport team Key Tasks & Responsibilities of a TRANSPORT COORDINATOR The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirements: ·To help the team get the orders out to their destinations · Arranging company own lorries to take customer orders · If no company lorries available then to contact haulage companies ·To negotiate best prices with haulage companies ·Enhancing customer service ·To find new hauliers and grow existing relationships ·Basic admin duties; processing orders, answering phones, filing, spreadsheets and booking haulage ·To maximise profit and volume from orders ·Build relationships with managers ·To use knowledge of geography, products and costs to ensure maximum profit Experience & Skills you will need t ·Strong Customer Service ·Fun & lively Personality ·Good Negotiating skills ·Good Time-management
