Overview
Buyer (Financial Services) role for a Global Financial Services Company based in Central London - up to £50k Your new company You will join global Financial Service organisation based in Central London. They are one of the largest hedge-funds in Europe and manage over £30bn in assets. The organisation is dynamic, forward thinking and they hire ambitious people that will drive the business forward. Your new role The procurement function in centralised in London but the role covers a global remit. You will focus on indirect categories covering IT, Market Data and Facilities Management. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process, so you will need strong stakeholder engagement skills to interact and fully understand the requirements of your stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal to the category and vendor strategy ensuring that the organisation get the most value from their supplier relationships. You will also be responsible for spend analysis as well as playing a key role in the supplier due diligence process to ensure they are suitable partners to work with. What you'll need to succeed You will need prior indirect procurement experience having dealt with a wide stakeholder group. Day to day you will be required to liaise with internal functions such as Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance and managers in different business lines across the globe. You will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering value in either of the three areas; IT, Market Data or Facilities Management. You will need an analytical mindset and you will need a keen eye for detail to be able to spot opportunity to deliver cost savings, supplier value-add and risk mitigation.
