Senior IT Engineer - London (Inside R35) £350-400 Per Day A leading based in London is currently recruiting for a Senior IT Engineer to be responsible for building and maintaining the IT systems that support the organisation. The Senior IT Engineer role is hugely important for designing and implementing software, hardware, and systems that support the end-users. Responsibilities: Build and support IT systems that support both the end-user community and the equipment at our sites Provide daily IT presence and work closely with internal partners making sure technical issues and request are attentive Support Zoom rooms and set up audio equipment for high profile meetings and provide white glove support Manage the onboarding /offboarding lifecycle of users which include account creation, grant permissions, and configure laptop and participate in automating process Delivery of onboard IT orientation which include how to access services, accessing support, and best practices for London site Create and maintain documentation of IT systems, including diagrams, processes, procedures, and runbooks Test, update, and deploy software packages through our software management tools Primary Tier 1 user support tasks, either by walk-ups, email, and tickets Escalation point for Tier 2-3 support after thoroughly vetting out issues\request and documenting steps Provide technical guidance to the management team and help identify improvements for our systems Consult on best practices and conduct training for technical and non-technical teams Maintain and forecast hardware requirements for site which will include inventory tracking, new hire estimate, and placing procurement request Ability to collaborate with vendors and communicate and escalate business-impacting events Provide white glove customer support to our c-level onsite and visiting from HQ Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Engineering or support role Minimum of 2 years working with MDM and other software deployment systems; experience with JAMF, Intune, or AirWatch/VMware Workspace UEM a plus Experience with packaging software, updates, and deployment/imaging of systems is required Experience setting up enterprise applications and software in cloud and virtual environments Expert level knowledge in Office 365 from both a user and administrator perspective Experience with Azure AD and/or other directories in the cloud Working knowledge of identity management (single-sign on SSO) systems on and multi-factor technologies; experience with OneLogin is a plus
