They have a fantastc opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join them at this exciting stage of growth. Role This technically hands on role will see you providing both operational as well as strategic support in the planning and development of an appropriate cyber security operational plan by making key contributions to the development of security architecture, services and systems within the organisation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a hands on individual who is looking to have strong involvement in the designing, implementation and leadership of new security solutions within this organization Responsibilities Manage the operation of appropriate security controls Act on vulnerability information and conduct security risk assessments Investigate & monitor major breaches of security, recommending prompt appropriate control improvements Perform risk assessment, business impact analysis and accreditation for all major information systems within the organisation Ensure that procedures are in place for investigation of system access enquiries referred by support staff Review new business proposals and planned technical changes and provide specialist guidance on security issues and implications Serve as front line response for troubleshooting low-level engineering issues as needed Act as the first point of action or escalation for the identification of incidents in security and their investigation Collaboration with IT technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation Ensure that any system changes required to maintain security are implemented Perform documentation reviews and improvements Essential Skills Experience in delivering solutions using new and emerging technology/policy and industry best practice Knowledge & experience of cybersecurity landscape, development methodologies and best practices Leadership and team management experience Application Support and Troubleshooting Knowledge Experience with using service desks (any package) Ability to convey detailed technical information to a variety of audiences including senior management. Proven analytical and problem solving skills Experience and interest in technology roadmaps and innovation and an ability to identify opportunities to apply new technologies Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills Subject matter expert (SME) in one or multiple areas such as Windows, Unix, firewalls, intrusion detection, threat detection analysis, or computer forensic Desirable Skills Working knowledge firewalls and switches Working knowledge of malware sandboxing technologies Working knowledge Vulnerability Management Products Exposure to Office365 ATP, Azure, Palo Alto Firewalls, Sophos, Nessus Monitor/action alerts from Sophos: ATP alerts from Palo Alto Documenting Security Alerts Play-Book Please email your CV to apply for this position
