Overview
Our multi award-winning client is seeking a HR Manager on a permanent basis. Based in their offices in Diss, Norfolk, you will provide day-to-day support to the business for all HR, recruitment and training needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that all HR policies and processes are compliant with the latest legislation and supporting the management team at all levels with HR related matters. This HR Manager role could be considered as full-time or part-time where a minimum of 30 hours per week would be required. Flexible working will also be considered. HR Manager Areas of required expertise, experience and role focus: Experience of working in an HR department. Responsible for updating all HR related policies, programs and practices to ensure compliance with latest legislation. Responsible for maintaining central recruitment function. Ensure recruitment processes are fair and compliant with legislative practices. Assisting management with the end to end recruitment of new staff. Responsible for arranging induction modules for new staff. Work with management to coordinate training within the company. Oversee the Personal Development Plans and Appraisals for all staff, supporting departmental managers as required. Ensure that the procedure for disciplinary or capability situations is followed. Assist staff with general employee related services and enquiries. Manage the work permit and Visa register and ensure it is available for inspection by Border Agency. In conjunction with Management, ensure the process is followed in relation to staff leaving the organisation. Maintain HR KPIs, HR Database, policies, procedures and the staff handbook. Ensure compliance with all Data Protection legislation in relation to staff and the HR function. Support and manage the company’s wellness program and initiatives. Applicants should be experienced HR Managers, ideally with some formal HR qualifications.
