React/ Frontend Developer (Edinburgh/Scottish Borders) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a developer to join a leading company who delivers cloud based scheduling and resource management tools. For this role you will be a JavaScript Developer who is proficient with react.js Responsibilites: Work closely with product owners, designers and developers to design and deliver quality tools and products. Advocate and promote good software practices and support technical standards that result in high quality, maintainable, and scalable software. Participate in code review and provide constructive feedback. Day-to-day support of platform availability and performance standards. Develop and prototype Web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including the latest Web technologies for JavaScript build processes. Strong communication skills. Ability to carry out day-to-day tasks with minimal guidance Desired Skills and Experience 2 years of experience with Web development and Javascript , thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles Experience with bundling technology such as Webpack, NPM etc Experience with HTML and CSS, including cross-browser compatibility, responsive Web design Experience in working with RESTful Web services and version control systems, including GIT Experience with testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility If this sounds like something of interest please get in touch to find out more information.
