Overview
Our client is a UK leading insurance provider based in Manchester city centre. They are looking for someone to join their team within their prestigious offices as an Insurance Fraud Investigator. The purpose of the Investigator role is to investigate and resolve a caseload of suspected fraudulent claims (mostly comprising motor theft cases) in order to achieve speedy and cost-efficient conclusion and minimal financial loss to the company. Key Accountabilities: Conduct detailed telephone-based interviews with claimants (predominantly involving motor theft) utilising Voice Risk Analysis technology. Conduct investigations into suspected fraudulent (non PI) motor claims referred from the claims department. Conduct desktop investigations, including database searches and cognitive telephone interviews with Customers, witnesses and third parties, to obtain evidence and progress the investigation Liaise with other insurers, investigating Solicitors, and law enforcement agencies, Ensure that case handling adheres to the terms of the Data Protection Act, Insurance Ombudsman recommendations, and all applicable regulatory requirements What You Will Need: 12 months claims handling experience in a personal lines environment Ideally experience working with fraudulent activity within insurance Working knowledge of the internet and insurance and financial services databases Knowledge of cognitive/conversation management What They Can Offer You: 25 days holiday annually Onsite restaurant and café Insurance vouchers Monday to Friday 8am-5pm 37.5 hours Study support and a structured career path Much more
