Overview
The company area fast growing, family run packaging manufacturer, who supply bespoke and technical packaging products. Due to organic growth, they are looking to recruit a new Production Planner to join their team, you will have worked in a Production Planner role for a similar business. Commutable from: Gateshead, South Shields, Newcastle Salary: £27,000 p.a. ot £32,000 p.a. Pension Holidays The Role: Managing customer expectations and processing customer orders and scheduling these into the despatch plans. Procuring raw material and consumables effectively and in a timely manner according to schedules and forecasts. Planning production runs to meet customer orders and stock holding requirements. Proactively managing stock levels. Collating and managing data fed back from production. Liaising and feeding back production information to relevant departments Managing customer expectations and processing customer orders and scheduling these into the despatch plans. The Candidate Must have at least 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment Must be able to demonstrate success in a high quality, high volume, fast paced and lean environment Must have production planning experience Must be computer literate with a very good knowledge in the use of MS-Office Must have very good communication skills (oral and written) A good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems are desirable but not essential To apply please forward an up to date copy of your CV to or call 01789 201040.
