Logistics Project Assistant Midlands £31,600 Please note interested candidates MUST have professional work experience within the Supply Chain sector. Our client is looking for a confident and dynamic Logistics Project Assistant. You will join an established Logistics team where you will be at the forefront of all future projects and initiatives This is a role of high responsibility, managers won’t interfere - they’ll trust you to make the right decisions. That’s a lot to take on and it can be demanding. But for the right people, this could be the start of a prosperous career You will be responsible for: § Assist and take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects within the Corporate Logistics Department; working efficiently and accurately to ensure that project governance is adhered to. § Responsibility for completion of end to end projects within the role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies. § Manage multiple logistics projects and tasks; working with internal and external stakeholders. § Responsibility for the processing and tracking of project action points and milestones. § Advanced standard of MS Office suites including Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including ability to use VLOOKUPS, PIVOT TABLES AND IF STATEMENTS). § Contribute positively and constructively to the Future Logistics Network Team § Adapt quickly to channel performance and business change across multiple projects What's in it for you? £31,600 rising in increments 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays Be part of a leading international retailer A comprehensive training programme High levels of autonomy and responsibility Selection Criteria: Professional work experience within Logistics and Supply Chain, preferably in an FMCG Retail environment (desirable) Prince2 Practitioner with experience in either assisting Project Teams or coordinating and managing Projects Educated to GCSE level, equivalent or above Skilled in relationship building, problem solving and change management Able to multi-task, be proactive and work on own initiative both independently and as a team Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously At Inplace Recruitment we believe it is people that make the business succeed, the right people, expertly placed in the correct positions.
