PCB Assembly Operative £20,000 - £24,000 DOE Berkshire Permanent A fantastic and immediate vacancy for an experienced IPC - PCB Assembly Operative to join a leading Electronics Manufacturer based near Reading. Job Description: As PCB inspector you will be working in a highly effective team within a fast paced environment. You will be required to fit components as per Bill of Materials, drawings and written instructions. Including: forming, mounting and soldering components while maintaining a high level of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: You will be required to achieve your output targets to deadlines set by your supervisor Soldering components ensuring all the components are fixed appropriately as per drawings/BOM/instructions. You will be required to use hand tools in the assembly process You must understand the required type of soldering such as hand, wave and selective soldering. You must check your work as part of the assembly process, 1st off and batch inspection is conducted You will be required to work effectively alone and within a team but also be able to work unsupervised You must understand and follow the companies quality policies and systems (ISO 9001:2008 and 14001) Working Hours: Mon – Thurs: 8:00am – 16:30pm Fri: 8am – 13:30pm Person Specification: Previous experience within PCB Assembly Knowledge and experience in technical assemblies Excellent hand soldering skills - Experienced / trained to IPC standards Fully understand BOM’s and instructions Ability to work to deadlines Good written and verbal communications skills Benefits Package Salary £20,000 - £24,000 depending on experience Holiday allowance Pension If you are interested and have the required experience for this fantastic opportunity position, please apply with your up to date CV right away.
