Love to work for a tour operator? Worked in reservations in travel or hotels? Centrally London based Inbound Tour Operator seeks an Italian speaking Reservations candidate to join a small team who look after the holiday arrangements for Europeans travelling to the UK. As Italian speaking Reservations assistant your role will include : Answering phone calls and being first point of contact for clients and suppliers. Updating UK & Ireland hotel availabilities via extranets and ensuring supplier are sending regular availability updates. Opening new contracts via extranets. Processing reservations via our internal reservation system. Processing amendments and cancellations. Replying to agent’s queries to amend and cancel reservations. Sending offers to agents. Managing book outs/ making alternative offers to agents. Running weekly reservations reports to make sure that all reservations have been processed. Contacting suppliers to make sure reservations are confirmed. Training interns. Working as part of a team as well as independently. As Italian Reservations & Data Entry your should have : Fluency in English - and any other European language especially Italian At least 6 months reservations experience in any sector of the tourism industry Great communication skills and some administration experience This well established company boasts modern offices, a low turnover of staff, happy working environment and opportunity to progress - they offer 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
